😆Can't guarantee the music! Here's some practical advice:
The bus company I used is called RegioJet. The round-trip ticket in a terrific bus with free WiFi was only $20! The official map that ostensibly shows the location of the Baroque Theater is here: https://mapy.cz/s/farapojepo, but as you can see, it doesn't show the 5th courtyard. My best advice is to just use Google Maps to get as close to that pin as possible; there are signs for "Baroque Theater" there, just not very obvious.
The castle complex is actually at the end of Rick Steves' Walking Tour; since I had to start there, I did the tour backwards.
The town is small. If you allow yourself a full afternoon (after the Castle tours) to explore, it really doesn't matter much if you follow a "stroll" or just meander on your own. My only advice would be to determine which sites or activities interest you the most and try to get to them first.
The town is chock-full of restaurants. If you want a particular one, and are coming during the touristy season, I would advise an advance reservation.
There are clean, paid bathrooms around - look for WC signs; they're around 1 euro.
I found euros are much more readily accepted than dollars, but korunas are the best.

Another great blog thanks. You've completely sold me on Český Krumlov, just hope they have music in the town square when we get there.

Be ready for plenty of stairs and hilly streets.
Enjoy!!!
